Kristopher Ricky Martin is an emerging Mi'kmaq rapper from Gesgapegiag. Inspired by American rapper Logic, he started freestyling and writing music at the age of 14. During a MN stopover in Carleton-sur-Mer in the fall of 2021, Kristopher created his first single, Confessions, a rap anthem tinged with hip-hop melodies, in which he talks about the ongoing problems he lives in Gesgapegiag.
